Celebrate Chocolate Mint Day Every February 19

Chocolate Mint Day - February 19

February 19 is Chocolate Mint Day

Chocolate and mint are wonderful flavors all on their own. But combine them and they become sensational. And that is what we celebrate for Chocolate Mint Day.

Of course you know there’s chocolate mint ice cream. And chocolate mint candies, like Andes and peppermint patties. Don’t forget Girl Scout Thin Mints.

But did you know the mint plant also comes in chocolate flavor? That’s right. There’s actually a chocolate mint plant. Yum!

This day is recognized by the National Confectioner’s Association, but we haven’t been able to find out how it came to be. It’s not clear if the Association actually started it. Or maybe it began with a candy company or an ice cream maker. Then again, maybe it was someone who just loves chocolate mint.

But does it really matter? If you love chocolate mint flavor, you’ll want to celebrate Chocolate Mint Day.
